Niagara Falls Golf Courses

Any trip to Niagara Falls would not be complete without a visit to some of the most popular golf courses.  Designed by some of the most famous golfers, these courses are sure to challenge even for the most experienced golfers.
Grand Niagara
Grand Niagara  An open, undulating landscape with tree-lined fairways and glittering ponds awaits you at the River Course at the Grand Niagara Resort. Designed by the celebrated golf course architect Rees Jones, The River Golf Course is an 18-hole 320 acre jewel next to the Welland River. It offers a challenge to some of the top players in the world from the Championship Tees, yet still exemplifies the Jones philosophy of variety and playability. Ranging from 5,737 to 7,425 yards, the course opens with wide, forgiving holes and gets progressively more challenging as the round unfolds. Start to finish, it is a terrific layout with no weak holes and a number of extraordinary ones.
Legends on the Niagara - Battlefield Course
Legends on the Niagara  Golfers at every level will find a challenge at the Battlefield Course. The host of the 2004 BMO Canadian Women's Open, this course is made up of an interesting blend of lakeside holes, links-style holes bordered by tall fescue, and a handful of secluded holes surrounded by mature Carolinian forest. A number of strategically positioned fairway, waste, and greenside bunkers come into play, and where there are no bunkers, there is water! In fact, water is featured on seven holes, and many of the holes have both the Ohio-white bunkers and water hazards.  The course is named after a legendary battle in the war of 1812, which took place adjacent to the course.  This course was designed by renowned architect Douglas Carrick.
Legends on the Niagara - Usher's Creek Course
Legends on the Niagara  A challenge awaits at Usher's Creek, where the course's namesake can be found gliding peacefully through a number of the holes. In fact, the course was literally shaped and defined by the creek and it enhances to the understated, natural look that many visitors have come to appreciate. The course features a mix of water holes, links-style holes, and (predominantly) woodland holes with tree-lined fairways. Water comes into play on nine holes, and where a hole lacks water, scores of strategically positioned fairway and greenside bunkers abound. Golfers' precision will truly be tested here, where the course was literally carved out of the surrounding woods.  This course was designed by renowned architect Thomas McBroom.
Thundering Water Golf Club
Thundering Waters  Thundering Waters features rolling greens, sculpted bunkers, meandering creeks, and expansive fairways. Here you'll find the 7th longest hole in Canada, measuring at 661 yards, along with a gratifying mix of the best of woodland, parkland, and heathland styles. All these combine to create a true masterwork. Thundering Waters is John Daly's first "Signature" golf course in Canada, and was built to evoke the look, feel and play of an intimate, secluded, private club.
