 Queen Victoria Park

Queen Victoria ParkQueen Victoria Park is literally the "heart" of The Niagara Parks Commission. The Park is adjacent to the Canadian "Horseshoe" Falls bounded by the escarpment, the Niagara Gorge, and the Niagara River. Queen Victoria Park features a valuable collection of unique native and international plant material from around the world. Much of the plant material is labeled for the benefit of the public. From early Spring to late Fall, Queen Victoria Park's many acres of colourful gardens bloom profusely. The park also features a major rock garden, a Hybrid tea rose garden, and two attractive carpet-bedding displays. Numerous park benches and beautiful lawns provide a pleasant opportunity for relaxation for the weary traveler. Queen Victoria Park is an ideal place to stroll while you watch the (nightly illumination of the Falls). During the winter months, the stark branches of trees and shrubs create visual and special interest for our visitors, especially when coated with ice from the freezing mist of the Falls. This Niagara Falls Attraction is owned and operated by the Niagara Parks Commission.
